Environmental Policy

Atmei Construction strives to support and comply with the requirements of current and future environmental legislation and codes of practice, exceeding this where practicable and feasible.

As part of our day to day operations, we are committed to ensuring air and water pollution prevention, sustainable land management, the management of unique flora, forests, water and wildlife, a clean and healthy environment for all employees, shareholders, customers, contractors, suppliers, the community and other interested parties.

We commit to prioritize the consideration of the effects of activities on the environment before implementation.

Atmei Construction will first identify, predict and evaluate the actual and potential impacts on the environment, socio-economic conditions and cultural heritage before any project is undertaken, by exploring the risks and consequences, alternatives and options for the migration of activities within the applicable legislative framework.

We will ensure that reasonable measures are adopted in order to minimize, rectify or prevent pollution or degradation of the environment from occurring in our operational activities.

We further commit to promote efficient use of materials and resources throughout our facilities including water, electricity, raw materials and other resources, particularly those that are non-renewable.

We commit to actively promote sustainable environmental development awareness amongst our employees and encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner. We will also train, educate and inform our employees about environmental issues that may affect their work.
